Getting Started With Video Lessons
There's a few things you can do before your lesson to prepare:
- Have a Microphone/Camera enabled device such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or destkop with webcam (most webcams have built in microphones). It is also not a bad idea to have a second device available just in case.
- Have a way to mount or position your camera so that your instrument and posture is in full view. For smartphones and tablets a good temporary solution we've found is a couple rubber bands and a music stand.
- Have your materials for the lesson ready, including a tuner and metronome. It's also a good idea if you know how to give your instrument a quick tune before hand.
