Q: How long does an item take to ship?
A: We at Jim's Music do everything in our power to ship your product as fast as possible. On occasion we do need a additional day or two in order to get all of your product together from our various locations.

Q: Does Jim's have gift certificates?
A: Yes, they can be purchased through our website or from any Jim's Music location.

Q.      What credit cards do you accept?
A.     We accept
 all four major credit cards: Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Discover. We also accept PayPal online.

Q.     Do you do layaways?
A.     Yes, we do have a layaway option. We do require a deposit of 25% of the item's selling price. We will then hold that item for you for a period of 60 days. The 48 hour approval period will not apply to any item on a layaway purchase. In the event of a “failed layaway”, any and all deposits that were paid are non-refundable and they are also not transferable for the purchase of another item. Please inquire if you have specific questions about this policy.

Q.     Why do you suggest shipping UPS?
A.     UPS has proven to be the fastest, cheapest, most reliable and have the easiest tracking and least amount of damage.

Q.     Do you ship overseas? To military addresses? To post office boxes?
A.     We ship overseas and to military addresses, but we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.  However due to our dealer agreement, we do not ship the folllowing brands outside the USA: Fender, 

Q.     What is your return policy?
A.     If you buy a product and have it shipped to you, you can return it within 48 hours for a full refund/return, no questions asked. You must pay for shipping both ways, though. For in store purchases, there is a 7 day return policy.

Q.     Do you take trades-ins? Do you buy products outright?
A.     Yes! We love to take trades and buy products. If you need a trade or cash estimate, call, write or come on in.


Q.     Do you have a repair shop?

A.     Yes, we have a full service repair shop with two full-time employees.


Q.     Are you an authorized service center for my instrument?

A.     We are an authorized service center for Fender.


Q.     What warranties do you have on your products?

A.     For used gear, we have a 60 day warranty unless marked "as is". As for all other new gear, each company has a different warranty. We also offer a 60 day warranty on all work done on guitars at the repair shop.
