Features:
Late 1930's KM12 Kalamazoo Mandolin w/ Case
During the depression era in the United States Gibson offered budget friendly instruments under their Kalamazoo brand. This economy could be achieved because the KM-12's top and back are "Arco-Arched", Gibson's term for pressed wood instead of carved. The spruce top is heavily X-braced, the mahogany back has one sturdy cross brace across the middle for support.
The top is starting to sink around the bridge due to its age and the body and neck has the wear from being heavily played. Overall it sounds great and is in playing condition.
